Plainview God knows everything

He knew where H.W. had been. "...have what's his name tell me where you've been. OR DO YOU THINK I DON'T KNOW?"

When Eli comes by Plainview's house, Plainview asks him point-blank: "Are things DOWN for you right now Eli?" How could he have known?

When Eli says "I am in desperate times", Daniel sympathetically says "I know" and even states philosophically "The Lord sometimes challenges us doesn't he Eli?" In other words, he knows God's plans, so he must be God. 

Is Plainview = Eli?

One is what one eats, so if Daniel ate Eli, he became Eli. Discuss.
